Rent a bike, its extremely quiet and pretty flat pedalling all around. Click on the title to see the map:
- Marcenay-Mauvilly vv Bike tour in the North part of Bourgundy starting at Campground Marcenay Lac. Magnificient views. Can be done by car as well.
- Bourgondië--Champagne Bike tour starting at Campground Marcenay Lac. Trip on the verge of Bourgundy en Champaign with magnificient scenery and butifull views. Some steep hills but worthwhile the effort.
- Bubble track Sparkling wine, Champaign or Crémant, it's all the same. In this area they produce Crémant. ou can follow the Route du Crémant de Bourgogne right from Marcenay village. Ik has over 70 signs spread over 120 km of wine area to discover the landscapes, villages and wine cellars of the Châtillonnais. You will pass some producers, try it out (on the way back)
- Circular tour to Chatillon sur Seine Through Vix, museum for antique art in Cahtillon sur Seine. Countryside route over silent roads. Agricultural and forest areas.
- Lac de Marcenay naar Ravieres Canal de Bourgogne Countryside with silent roads through sloping agricultural and forest areas.
- Marcenay Countryside Tour around the camping. Silent. Agriculture, forest, small villages, beautifull point of view. Partially rubble surface so requires a bike with proper tires and gear.
- Camping marcenay lac to Laignes supermarket Marcenaylac "les grebes" Coolcamping has no supermarket, so here is the 4.5 km ride to get there, it is in Laignes village .You find bakers a bank plus cashmachine , the postoffice, garages petrol, and a bar tabac for your fishing licence there.

By car
- The easyest and quickest road to camping marcenay lac. For the second half it's really pretty.

- Route Touristique des vignobles de l'Yonne (map in brochure on page 30) is subdevided in 5 tours, the closest (Tonerre) is a 40 km drive from the camping. On each tour you pass through picturesque wine villages where you can visist attractions, make a culinairy stop or submerge in a wine cellar (120 cellars are open to visitors).
